● know the ropes 对某事十分精通
典故："know the ropes"这个习语来源于大航海时代，水手们在船上要学习的最基本的技巧就是知道如何拉绳子，从而改变帆船的帆的方向来决定船前行的方向，因此懂得如何拉绳子是船员一个非常重要的技能。一直到了十九世纪中页“know the ropes”就变成了一个常见的俚语，并一直沿用至今。
注解：rope意指绳、索，the ropes意为内情；(to know the) ropes系指知道内情，喻指以某事十分精通。
